Moni Mela
Every year, beginning on his death anniversary on 31 December, a week-long fair – Moni Mela – is held at Susang Durgapur, Netrokona. It brings together local people, including Hajong and Garo communities, with cultural programmes, stalls and a free eye camp. Moni Mela schedule · photos.
Death and birth anniversaries
On 31 December wreaths are laid at the Tanka Martyrs’ Memorial in Durgapur and programmes are held in Dhaka and across the country. His birth anniversary, 28 July, is also observed. Death anniversary · birth anniversary.

His autobiography Jiban Sangram (first published 1983; English translation Life is a Struggle, 1988) remains an important first-hand history of the communist and peasant movements of Bengal. Several books are free to download on the Publications page.
